Drove to the border between Laos and Thailand, went through Laos immigration, then had to catch a bus across a bridge, over the Mekong to Thailand, then go through Thai immigration, confused? Any hoo we then drove to Chiang Rai, yippy... I REALLY love Thailand, we have nice beds, flooring, a proper shower, they even supply a whole roll of toilet paper. Emily nearly wet herself she was so excited, I was quite thrilled too but tried to act cool. After showering and resting we hit the night markets, watched the light show that emanates from the clock, ate Pad Thai in the street, which by the way only cost $1.10 AU and watched a lady boy performance....
